Well Wasn't Today Fun

So I was pretty much by myself all day today, so I just hung out.

I watched the Japanese version of Cinderella the Musical, not sure if there's an English one, but it was so good. It had subtitles, but I was able to understand quite a bit without them. I thought the musical really captured a different aspect of Cinderella than the Disney version. Not to say that the Disney version isn't good, but this one was just great. It was like the old Shakespeare plays where it was cast with all men, this one was all female. I really enjoyed it.

After that I watched CSI until my parents came back from some errands and we went to a pizza place called AJ Barelies (sp). It was decent, Dominoes definitely is my favorite pizza. I liked the crust at this place, the cheese was super fresh, however the sauce wasn't very original and the toppings could stand to cook a bit more. Still good though. I probably will never go back, but it was good. Kinda forgetable.

When we got back home, I was super excited for my family to watch one of my favorite shows called Dollhouse. I watched it when I was away for my Junior year at college and loved it, and I was really excited for my family to see it. Basically my mom fast forwarded through a crap load of the show because she said it was too sexual. We even missed all of the third episode of the season because it's about a dancer. Woooa BFD!!! I swear, I'm the odd ball in my family. No one appreciates what I like. I was all excited to watch this show again, my parents hate it. No bother watching the fourth episode, even though it's playing right now. She pretty much ruined the whole thing for me. When I get back to school I'll just watch it again with my roommate, without the immaturity of fast forwarding. I get being offended, but seriously! It's not like they're naked, and the sexual parts last for five seconds at max. I can't wait to be out on my own again. You'd never know I'm 20 by the way my parents treat me.
